Remember Us is a new local history book about hte personal struggles of individuals and families in the Newport Battalion area, West Mayo, during the War of Independence and the Civil War. Thanks to the collective memory of the local community and the descendants of those involved, it calls to mind the brave deeds of the sometimes forgotten men and women, both at home and abroad, who took park in the struggle for Ireland's freedom.
