This wonderful collaboration between Thomas F. Walsh and Liam Lyons, brings together a beautiful book which combines approximately sixty poems that can be attributed to the West of Ireland, and some wonderful images to accompany each piece.

Yeats, Katherine Tynan, Máirtín ó Díreáin, Derek Mahon, Ella Young, Douglas Hyde and Thomas Davis are amongst the poets whose works are included. 

Each poet is given a biographical note at the beginning of the book and the book then moves towards the twin beauties of the poems and accompanying images. Croagh Patrick, Ashleigh Falls, Clew Bay and Inish Shark are amongst the spectacular and beautiful locations that are included in the book.
