For the Record chronicles the history of the Diocese of Killala since its inception in 1111 a.d. to the present day and includes a Chronology of Killala Diocese, a Foreword by Archbishop Francis Duffy, lists of Killala Bishops, Priests, Religious Brothers and Religious Sisters as well as a list of Killala Diocesan History Sources and recent church refurbishments. 

A collector’s item, For the Record, written by Killala Diocesan Historian, Fr Brendan Hoban, has been published to mark the installation of Archbishop Francis Duffy as Bishop of Killala, to anticipate the impending merger of Killala diocese with the diocese of Tuam and to trace nine centuries of Killala Diocesan History.
