Established in 2003, the Mayo Heritage Office aims to

• Promote interest, education, knowledge and pride in Mayo’s heritage
• Provide advice and information on all aspects of Mayo's heritage
• Collect information
• Liase with other bodies in the promotion of heritage
• Promote best practice in heritage management and conservation
• Implement the actions in the County Mayo Heritage Plan 2011-2016
• Support Integration of heritage policy across all sectors
