• Revolution in Dublin

The years 1913 - 1923 were a time of momentous change in Ireland. From the social upheaval of the 1913 Lockout to the horrors of the Civil War, Dublin city was at the centre of the tumultuous events that characterised those years. Using photographs that span that period, many previously unpublished, Revolution in Dublin charts the story of the city and its people during a decade of upheaval. Focusing on the ordinary men and women who were involved in these events, sometimes at huge personal cost to themselves, these pictures provide a fascinating insight into the events that shaped a nation.
