'Achill Colony' is a collaboration between Patricia Byrne, author of 'The Veiled Woman of Achill' and 'The Preacher and the Prelate' and Red Fox Press,based in Dugort, Achill.

The book presents the story of 'The Achill Colony' and documents the 'battle' between the Achill Mission Colony, founded by Edward Nagle, and the Archbishop of Tuam at the time, John Mac Hale.

The book is hand woven and presented beautifully, as is customary for all Red Fox Press books.
